The Lord Jesus is a mighty healer, and it is always a joy to witness and hear testimonies of His healing power at work in the lives of His people.
Lisa had been struggling with persistent nerve pain for the past four years. The discomfort had become a constant part of her daily life, affecting her peace and overall well-being. Recently, during one of our inner healing sessions, she expressed her desire for prayer, specifically for relief from this ongoing pain.
In that moment, we turned our attention to Jesus, the One who heals, restores, and makes whole.
I prayed in the name of Jesus, inviting the healing power of God to encounter her. I spoke against the pain, commanding it to leave in Jesus’ name. I asked for the peace of God to rest upon her and for the light of God to flood every place where darkness and discomfort had resided.
Here Lisa’s exact description of her encounter: “Some light walked through my eyes in waves; it made the pain fade away and I experienced a wonderful sensation of relief and peace”.
There is something powerful that happens when the presence of God meets the place of pain. His light drives out darkness. His peace quiets every distress. His power restores what has been afflicted.
We continue to stand in faith, knowing that Jesus is still the same yesterday, today, and forever, our Healer.
